Never mind that pop tarts were created on this day in 1965; the San Diego is returning from its three quarter day trip with 141 yellowfin tuna, 1 dorado, 27 skipjack and 1 yellowtail. The yellowfin are up to 40lbs with the average fish being 15-25lbs. They ate the anchovy on 15-25lb test and #2-1/0 hooks. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am. Make sure to bring your California fishing License. The Tribute has one day trips departing Friday and Saturday......

11-19-15 1:00pm - The San Diego just updated their 3/4 Day offshore count, and they are up to 125+ yellowfin tuna. The fish are ranging from 15 pounds up, with a few fish in the 40-50# range. Captain Ryan will be running offshore for the next week, fishing in California waters and looking for more yellowfin. His trip for tomorrow is a run for sure, so make your reservations now!
