We had a legitimate shot and landed 7 tuna " 5 fish were 125 to 170 and a few 60 lb.ers. The weather was spectacular and looks to stay that way. Good evening from the Independence. What's the old saying, " nothing lasts forever " well that pretty well sums up things down here. We had some good action this morning on 130 to 180 lb. fish with a stand out 260 lb.er caught by Mike Conklin. After the morning hit we caught sum here and there but it looks to me that the prevailing conditions aren't going to work for us. We are on the move to greener pastures.......

We had lots of wind today and things were on the tough side as far as what we did the last few days down here. We did sum driving around in sloppy conditions and managed to scrape up 30 tuna for our efforts. Most fish today were 70 to 145 lbs. , nice grade for a blown out day. We are going to try it again tomorrow , sea ya then , Jeff ......
