http://www.royalpolaris.comHello everyone; Well it’s starting to look like Thanksgiving, with the Yellowfin making a excellent showing today. We had 82 Yellowfin up to 282 pounds. Most of the fish were in the 40 to 65 pound range, with 20 fish over the 100 pound mark, and 3 fish over 200 pounds.
Lucky anglers today, Steve Lucero with a 252 pound Yellowfin caught on the kite. Steve fish came in tail first after being on the fish for over an hour.
Danny Gasca with a 232 pound Yellowfin tuna. Danny had a few problems with his new reel, almost had to put the back-up on, but after a very long battle this monster was on the boat.
Scott Freeman, who almost did come on the trip, due to a death in the family, but they told him to go, and he fought his fish for over an hour. Scott would like to let his mom know, that this one was for her. Scott fish came in at a beefy 282 pounds.
So I would say that today was a very good day. We will give this another try tomorrow, before we start heading north, and try our luck at some more WAHOO!! So until tomorrow, wish us luck.
