Report Date:
http://www.theflyshop.com/streamreport.htmRiver flow is 297 CFS out of Lewiston and leveling off at 767 CFS down at Junction City. Fishing has been good all week. Right now, river conditions are variable and improving. It's conditions like these that produce those epic days of steelhead fishing. Conditions we dream of. We had some reports that the river blew out today, but some anglers were out fishing the upper sections where great conditions existed. Anglers dunking bright orange beads and pink egg patterns got tight. Expect this report to change as the conditions change and river reports come in. Conditions are dynamic right now and I can't express to you how important it is to make sure you stay committed to taking on the river in rainy weather. You could experience truly stupendous fishing. Make sure you have chains when traveling HWY 299 during stormy winter weather.
