Coronado Island Yellowtail

Captain Ryan Bostian has called in an update from his three quarter day trip aboard the San Diego fishing the Coronado Islands with 50+ yellowtail. This fish is a solid 20lbs and it's eating the yo yo jig full speed on the 40 and 50lb. He had the boat bent at the time of this update. Stay tuned for more as new reports come in.

Captain Ryan Bostian aboard the San Diego has ended his three quarter day trip with a huge bang, 129 yellowtail with the average fish being 20lbs and of coarse 1 or 2 smaller and a few in the 30lb range. This fish ate the yo yo jig full speed on the 40-50lb. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am and requires a valid passport to board.......

Saturday update

The New Seaforth ran an afternoon 1/2 day trip Saturday and had good bottomfishing for Rockfish, Sheephead and Whitefish. Sunday's 1/2 day trips will be at 6:00 am and 12:30 pm. The San Diego will be running a Coronado Islands 3/4 day trip Sunday departing at 5:30 am. A valid passport is required for all passengers.......
