Hey folks,
The morning of departure for the last 5 or 6 trips has produced some of the best bites of the year. It is almost as if they know were are leaving and they are trying to entice us to stay. We found a school at gray light, although it didn’t react right away, we were patient and it worked in our favor. Just as we were contemplating looking for another one, “Biter” echoed from the deck. Followed by another, then another with “BOIL” chiming in between. The action remained steady up until the last minute. The moment the last fish hit the deck, we fired them up and put it on course. Leaving 100 plus pounders jumping out of the water and crashing around. A perfect way to end the season, let alone the trip. We will be home tomorrow afternoon.
