Throw everything you have at the trout now, ie: powerbait, nightcrawlers, and salmon eggs and combinations of these baits, spoons and spinners of different varieties. By casting closer and then working your way out a little further one can detect what depth the trout are cruising and having patience is key to success now. Marc Christophel was on the lake recently and had success toplining for Macks. Best spots for these guys were on the East side of the lake using Rapala F11 and F13 in orange/white. Also, for those jigging for the Macks the area of China Cove has lots of these guys stacked up around depths 85-90 feet.

Still fishing well here but be careful for those windy fall days if you are utilizing a boat! This lake is notorious for capsizing boats!
