Report Date:
http://www.royalpolaris.comToday was our last full day of fishing and to be brutally honest we didn’t do significantly better than yesterday’s short day. Our total was 14 tuna and 3 wahoo and there were extended lull periods all too frequently. One stand out was Wade Wells’s 198.6 kite fish which while still short of cow status was his personal best.
Bob Ramirez also got an estimated 172 bait fish and the remainder ranged from 50 to 120. It was not the stuff of dreams but at this point in the trip I’m confident that everyone has enough fish for their families and friends. Never the less we are all still hoping to bag that one “fish of our dreams” and with a half day or so to go tomorrow maybe, hopefully, somebody’s gonna get it. Weather is still outstanding, we’re still having fun, we’re still trying hard.
POEM OF THE DAY
The fish is a constant buyer
That’s why he can’t retire
Could it be greed?
You know he can’t need
A washer and a dryer.
