Catfish Season

Opening Weekend is scheduled for April 2nd and 3rd. Lakes 3 and 4 will split a 2,000 lb. stock of Channel Catfish. This stock will include tagged fish worth CASH and Prizes! Be sure to report your catch to the Park Office. Prizes will also be awarded for the top 5 largest Catfish caught over the 2-day event.

Lake lowdown

The Trout fishing has been excellent this past week. Lakes 3 and 4 have been producing numerous Trout over 5 lbs. The final stock of Rainbow Trout is due to Friday, March 18th. The water temperature is rising and the Bass bite has improved. Reminder all Bass are catch & release and shiners are NOT permitted. Bring your catch and tagged fish to the General Store to claim your prize. If you catch a Trout 5 lbs. or larger you will be entered into the April 1st drawing for a 2 night Cabin Vacation!
