Anglers are catching striped bass in the Overton Arm. Stewarts Point has been a productive area for still fishermen as well as those who prefer trolling. A 21.3-pound striper was reeled in near B-5 Road during a Striper Club tournament on Saturday. Participants also caught three other fish that weighed in the mid-teens. The Vegas Bay arm is still providing good fishing action for stripers up to three pounds. NDOW planted rainbow trout on Friday and several anglers caught their five-fish limit in short order. PowerBait and small hardware caught the fish.
