http://www.royalpolaris.comWe went out searching for some wahoo to mix in with our nice catch of Tuna. In our search, we came upon a small string of pallets that was drifting with a nice school of bait. We soon found out it was holding a nice family of Wahoo to go with the bait. We ended up spending a few hours making passes with wahoo bombs, lures and bait on light wire. We caught 68 wahoo and everyone on board got at least one fish. It was very, very fun!
I know food reports aren’t the most exciting thing to talk about, but the chefs are doing an amazing job. We had filet mignon with twice baked potatoes and charred broccoli for dinner. Little Frank (Bobblehead) did some entertaining after dinner taking on a young booby bird that landed on his bait tank. Little Frank held his own for about 37 seconds then the booby dominated pecking little Frank’s shiny head until chips of paint came off. It will be on You Tube when we get back. Look up the title: Little Frank gets his ass whooped by a baby booby bird.
In any case, I found Rick “125 soaking wet” Allen (our leader in the big fish contest with a 224.6lber) and he wanted to say hi to Lise and let her know he is having a great time!
