http://www.royalpolaris.comHi RP Fans;
Rather than feed a bunch of nice tuna to the resident population of silky and Galapagos brown sharks for the rest of the trip, we decided to make a move after the morning session to Hurricane Bank. We had an initial flurry of tuna in the morning with a handful of tuna up to 120lbs and a few wahoo. Several more got mauled and it wasn’t enough to keep us in the Buffer Zone. We will arrive at the Bank at 2am and will start fishing soon after. Wish us luck, we deserve it!
Lucky angler today was the interim Charter Master and your Ghost Writer. While it was not a large fish, it was one of the most satisfying fish I’ve ever caught. So far, I hooked some nice ones and each one went to the sharks. I fully expected this one to meet the same fate and be eaten at any moment. For those of you that have experienced the feeling, it’s very unnerving. Today’s was the first to make it up whole and happens to be my favorite size (120lbs) for the RSW. Congratulations to me!
Marla, Makala, Kailea and my associates at TSCG & ChainLinks, this is my hello! Miss you guys! I hope to say hi again reporting a fish twice or three times that size!
