http://www.questsportfishing.comCapt Greg checked in from the Pacific Quest with a trip update, today we had 26 Yellowtail of which we released 11 to grow some more, we kept 15. We also had 41 Calico Bass and 47 Blue Perch and some assorted Rockfish for our 12 anglers. Fishing was a little slow today, which may be due to all the light boats and seiners in the area. Capt Greg checked in with final counts for the Pacific Quest from their overnight trip and had a really good day, we went 19 for 30 on the larger grade Yellowtail from 18 to 30 lbs. After the morning flurry we headed into deeper water and got some nice Rockfish and Lingcod, the largest Lingcod went 24 lbs. Capt Greg checked in from the Pacific Quest as they return home with 12 anglers and ended the day with 38 Yellowtail, 20 Calico Bass and few other assorted fish. We had some really nice shots at the bigger grade Yellowtail and had quite a few caualties due to tackle, the 30 lb set ups just are not cutting it for these guys.
