Hey folks

We spent the night on the local tuna grounds last night and started looking around in the dark. We saw a couple spread out areas of fish before daylight but nothing stuck with the boat. Come daylight it actually looked pretty poor till about 0800, then things started to wake up. By 1000 there was breezers of bluefin literally everywhere you looked sometimes as many as ten schools at a time. Unfortunately they were acting like typical bft and being very line shy. We were able to scrape up a couple handfuls of nice tuna with three going over 100#. There is an amazing amount of fish around and with the water staying cool it’s only a matter of time before they really start biting. A big thanks to Izorline this trip for bringing out all the free line and giveaways. We leave tomorrow on our annual Penn sponsored 8 day trip. We’ll check in tomorrow.
