Wednesday Final Counts

The Tribute has called in with a final count of 46 Yellowfin Tuna and 13 Bluefin Tuna (up to 90lbs) for their 32 anglers on a one day trip.

The San Diego finished their three quarter day trip on Wednesday with 28 Yellowfin Tuna.

The Cortez returned to the dock this morning with 70 Yellowfin Tuna (limits) for his 14 anglers on a one and one half day trip!

If you are planning on taking a tuna fishing trip, please come prepared with a 25# outfit and some fluorocarbon with some size #2 and #1 hooks.  Also be prepared with a heavy outfit, 50# or 60# and some 2/0 - 4/0 sized hooks for the larger grade of fish that are being caught.  Dont forget your flat fall jigs, small poppers and 4oz torpedo sinkers also!

UPDATE 3:00pm - The Tribute is now up to 46 Yellowfin Tuna and 13 Bluefin Tuna in the 30-90lb range! 12:30pm - Captain Dave on the Tribute just called to let us know that they are up to 39 Yellowfin Tuna and 13 Bluefin Tuna. 12:00 - Captain Greg on the Pride called in with 7 Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Bluefin Tuna in the 60 to 100lb range. 11:00am - Captain Mark on the Pacific Voyager just put a Bluefin Tuna on deck......
