Below the Davis Dam along the Colorado river its been slow but with the recent rainbow trout stocking this will pick up. this stocking is a month earlier than past history and is meant to help in the caddis fly population. These trout are on the small side so if you are going to practice catch and release please be careful try to keep them in the water don’t handle them much as the slimy film is their protective coating. If you see any blood its best to keep them the trout aren’t real hardy. We will be getting larger fish soon.
