At the close of week 7 in the pot of gold halibut derby out of Long Beach Sportfishing Kam Yu is still in the lead with his 38 lbs. halibut caught a week ago. Week 7 closed out with a big fish of 12 lbs caught by Bryan VanGundy of Gardena winning $250 and bumping the Pot of Gold Fish off Grand Prize over $2,000! This Wednesday through Sunday is the last chance anglers have to Qualify for a Top 25 weighing fish to get in the Fish off.
