http://www.kenssport.comThe East has dropped down to about 67 cfs right now, as it's been for the last couple weeks the fishing on the California side has been a bit tough. There are some fish being caught but you'll need to work for them a little bit. The weather is definitely changing (finally) with some cooler nighttime temps as well as daytime highs, this should help see an improvement in the fishing down there. The caddis are all but gone on the river so it's mainly midge and baetis patterns as well as a bit of streamer action. We're still getting some better reports from the Nevada side of the river, there seems to be better numbers of fish down there right now. Most of the fish in the upper mile just below the dam are rainbows lately and the browns are further down between the bridge and Murphy's Pond. Patterns to try include: rainbow warrior, dark lord, san juan worm, wd-40, micro mayfly, zebra midge, copper john, zuddler, dead drift crayfish, double bunny and sculpzilla.
