http://www.kenssport.comThe West is running low and clear but if you're sneaky enough you should be able to get into some nice fish. You'll want to do a little hiking to search out the deeper pools and runs where fish are hanging out and walk past some of the thinner water where there might not be any fish. Both the Pickle Meadows and Canyon sections are fishing pretty well. Crawlers and salmon eggs for the bait anglers, panther martins, mepps and roostertails for the lure anglers. Fly anglers can go with prince nymphs, copper johns, soft hackles, wooly buggers and leech patterns and if the afternoons warm up enough and the hoppers come out to play you can go with a hopper/dropper rig.

The Sceirine is still hanging in there with some nice fish being caught, nymphing seems to still be the best......
