Captain Tino Valentine called in this afternoon with an audio update from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Sportfishing in San Pedro, CA. The conditions are different today. The water temps went down a bit. We had very little current. And the never ending population of Sea Lions created havoc.

Beside the changes in conditions we still managed to have a decent day today. We had 24 Yellowtail, 9 Bonito, 5 Lingcod, 8 Red Rockfish, 15 Sheepead (up to 10 pounds) and 82 Rockfish.

We recommend 40# Yoy0 in the AM with red crab jig. In the after you need 25 to 30 pound and sliders for bait. And torpedoes for rock fishing.
