Capt Tino checked in from the Freedom as they returned from their 1.5 day trip, it was one of the better days here in southern California. We hooked at least 60 of the larger grade Bluefin Tuna and managed to put 23 of them on the deck. The key to landing these fish you better have the right gear, a minimum of 40 lb set up, absolutely no spinning gear and make sure yout gear is in good shape. After the bite died we went a little further and got into a really good Yellowfin Tuna bite and had at least 80 hookups, and landed 51 from 20 to 30 lbs.
