http://www.santeelakes.com/fishingreport.htmGreat sized trout are still being caught out of all the lakes we have stocked this season. The trout are looking very active as they are being caught in all parts of the lakes. Most anglers are reporting good luck with Powerbait and nightcrawlers but I wouldn't be surprised if the mini jig starts working well again.
Alex Lamar (pictured left) caught this 6lbs. 4 oz. trout out of lake 3. He was using green Powerbait and caught it around 10:00AM.
Josh Renbold was fishing on Lake 4 when he caught this 3 lbs. trout. He was using an inflated nightcrawler. He also caught his trout around 10:00AM.

Almost all the trout caught that were reported to me this week were caught on nightcrawlers or some combination of night crawler and Powerbait. . We had very similar numbers come out of Lakes 2, 3, and 4 this week.
