Trout is closed. Chinook opened Aug. 1 in the North Fork up to Johnson Creek and in the mainstem up to Spencer Creek.
Winter steelhead fishing opened on Dec. 1 upstream to bridge 10 on the North Fork Smith and upstream to Sisters Creek. Retention is only allowed on adipose fin-clipped steelhead.
