http://www.mountainhardwareandsports.comThis lake, like Donner, came up significantly because of the recent weather event. Has bumped from 34% to just over 51% capacity with all the rain and snowmelt run-off. Lake is dropping quickly though with the flow below the dam at 507 CFS! Cutthroat that were stocked are a little different on the bite from the usual Rainbows that we see. Salmon eggs and nightcrawlers are the bait of choice but hardware such as Roostertails, Kastmasters, and Panther Martins have been catching most these guys recently. Colors and retrieve are keys to getting fish to getting skunked and they change from time of day to each day. Once you find the combination it’s on! Good luck.
