Loon Lake was stocked with 7,500 legal-size rainbow trout in 2016. Loon is scheduled to be stocked in early March. Fishing for crappie, bluegill and bass is likely slow with the cooler temperatures, but there are still opportunities to catch these fish with slower presentations such as jigging.
