A sensational day of fishing and beautiful weather. 40 Yellowfin tuna from 75 to 195 pounds. Almost all fish over 100 pounds, with many at 150 to 160 pounds.

Hi folks; Our first day at Clarion was quite rewarding. The weather is beautiful and the seas calm. Today we fished 7 to 10 miles off Clarion island mainly finding small bunches of Porpoise, carrying some nice fish. We caught 25 Yellowfin tuna for the day. Some highlights were Bill McCarty's 195 and 174 pound Yellowfin tuna, Bruce Wheeler's 280.6 pound Yellowfin tuna, Steve "Black-cloud" Tsujiuchi's 215 pound Yellowfin tuna, and Gary Edwards 175 pound Yellowfin tuna.
