Hi Gang,

 

We arrived on scene at the Hurricane Bank just after noon today. After looking around with the troll jigs and the fish finding equipment, saw a fair sign of fish, and we got the anchor down shortly after 1300. Within 30 minutes we hooked our first tuna on the kite. Jennifer Ramey was up on the kite first and after a 45 minute fight, she landed a yellowfin tuna that taped out at 205 lbs. Her first long trip, her first fish over 100 lbs. What a way to get things started Jen! We stayed busy through out the rest of the day with 1 to 2 fish hooked most of the time. We had current all afternoon. Most of our fish were 120 to 170 pounds. We did pick up a number of wahoo as well. We are happy with the sign of fish we see and will be staying here tonight. The weather is beautiful. Life is good on the Intrepid, Captain Bill Cavnaugh and the Intrepid Team
