The same lures are still being hit, firetiger patterns and this week chrome kastmasters and silver needle fish are being hit. Night crawlers with a bobber are still the way to go if you are going to fish bait. The small mouth bass are starting to show now with one fisherman getting 7 legals. A couple of large mouth were caught but thats all. The crappie and the cat fish were the same, just a couple of each and amazingly, one blue gill. So get ready for the bite to bust wide open by next month.
Tidbits: When a great white shark is killed all other white sharks in the vincinity will immediately vacate the premises and not return.

The trout are still biting very well as the fish that are coming in are mostly 4 to 7 lbs. The best lures being rapalas and flicker shad in a firetiger pattern, however the fish have started biting a color called gold speckled shiner flicker shad.
