Captain James Smith checked in this evening with an update from the California Dawn.  My predictions of a better bite today panned out and the folks that showed up for this mornings trip were rewarded with plenty of halibut. We scored 4 bass and 34 halibut to 32 pounds for our 19 anglers. We also released another 80 undersized halibut.

Tides remain great throughout the weekend and this coming week.
