http://www.mountainhardwareandsports.comWith flows being bumped DOWN to a good flow rate this is where most the fly fishing traffic ends up! THE ERRATIC UP AND DOWN OF FLOWS HERE ON Thursday CAUSED SOME FISH TO PERISH AND EXPOSED SOME REDDS! If you have to drop a line here I would think more about using 5x or 6x as fish here are pretty spooky. Access is wide open here now and fish will be found everywhere throughout the system. Trout here will be feeding on a steady diet of Midges and BWO/Baetis, so have all stages of these bugs in your box. The rule of thumb here has been 3x-5x depending on the situation. Fall backs to use are San Juan Worms when nothing else seems to work. Hint: the bigger fish in this system prefer emergers over adults most the time, so learn how to fish emergers effectively.
