It was another great week here at Convict Lake. Both the campground and the resort have been very busy. We have had some great weather up here with some thunderstorms in the afternoon. The fishing at the lake has been promising. Department of Fish and Wildlife has been planting the creek/lake about every week. We are looking forward to a great week here at Convict Lake.

Tactics and Bait
Fishing at the lake remains consistent. We have seen some nice 4lb plus fish brought in this past week. Bait fishing has been the best especially, Powerbait in garlic scent. There are lots of bugs out so be sure to bring some spray.
Here is a list of other baits/lures that also work well: Panther Martins, Tasmanian Devils, green or brown Marvel Fly Lures, Kastmasters, NeedleFish, Roostertails, and garlic scent on Powerbait.

Low to mid 80's during the day with a chance of thunder storms in the afternoon. Nighttime temps remain in the high 40's
