http://www.royalpolaris.comHi everyone!
Work aboard the Royal Polaris continues at an organized chaotic pace.
Steve Loomis and Frank continue to chase parts, organize jobs to be done and
get the right people down to the boat at the right time. Frank even got to
sand on the hull for a couple of hours - which relieved some stress.
Billy is becoming quite the welder and fabricator on small jobs.
There were an unbelievable amount of man hours put into grinding the hatches
that were cut to remove the engines. The starboard hatch was completed by
7pm. The port hatch should be completely welded in by noon on Friday.
The painting crew will be glossing the bulworks and the entire hull on
Saturday and Sunday. We do the 1st coat on Saturday and the 2nd on Sunday.
The Green guard rail and boot stripe will get 2 coats on Monday.
The entire crew will be working through the weekend and I will not bother
you with another report until Monday.
Frank
