GENERAL CONDITIONS

The weather at Shadow Cliffs has been very nice with the temperatures in the low 60 to the high 80.
Water Temperature: 75 degrees, depending on depth.
Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.

TROUT

The trout bite has slowed down because of the heat.

BASS

On 7/9/17 a fisherman caught and released 7 bass; he was float tubing in the arroyo and he was using Senko’s.

CATFISH

Anglers report fishing for catfish has picked up with limits being caught around the lake.
On 7/2/17 Cody of Livermore caught 2 catfish totaling 10lbs. Cody was using chicken livers and he was fishing by the marina.
Sam of Pleasanton caught his limits of catfish out on his boat and he was using mackerel for bait.
Rich Lei of Livermore caught 3 catfish and he was fishing left of the 1st dock.
On 7/5/17 Romy of Livermore caught 2 catfish and he was fishing by the marina.
On 7/10/17 a fisherman caught 5 catfish; he was using chicken livers and he was fishing left of the boat launch.
