The Bass bite is still going on with top water action being the most productive. Just a few catfish have been reported this week. Bluegill have very little pressure. Not many fishermen are looking for Bluegill, most fisherman come to El Capitan looking for bass. Ask the the concession manager about the evening bite special for boats and kayaks.

The bass bite is improving. Try top water in the morning and work the senkos during the day. During the day the bass are chasing the fry with the top water action being the most productive. Catfishing is on the rise with a couple of fisherman reporting limits. Bluegill fisherman are still finding some nice schools with several limits being reported.
