Hi Gang,

We made a move last night to put ourselves in position to fish for wahoo. The move paid off. We started out our day at first light with a nice wahoo caught by Ken Morris on the live bait rig, a fish that was right around 40 pounds. Shortly after that, the fish got on us really good and we got busy. This fish was bitiing very aggresive for a period of time and the guys working at it were having good success. Most of our fish came on the live bait wire leader rigs. It was a super fun bite and we even had a few fish jump clear out of the water right behind the boat. One of the coolest things about our morning wahoo bite was the few guys that had never fished wahoo before that caught one today. The look of pure joy after landing their first ever wahoo was awesome. We picked up some nice tuna as well today that were around 35 pounds. The guys had a blast. Although we had a good day on the wahoo, it didn't feel as though new fish had moved in so we opted to make a move. We will target yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck. Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
