The reservoir is 41 percent full, with a current surface temperature averaging 71oF. Boat anglers probably should check with the BLM to make sure the ramp is still usable before heading to Hyatt. Reports from the past weekend indicate that trailers wheels from larger boats would have been off the ramp at the Mountain View boat ramp, but the dock still useable. Fishing for largemouth bass is probably the best with the very warm water temperatures. The parking area near the dam has been closed by the Bureau of Reclamation this season as the agency begins repairs on the dam.
