The bass bite was day to day last week, with Sunday providing the best action. Drop shot robo worms reportedly did the most damage, with small swimbaits and jerkbaits working as well. Most of the bass have been llb to 1 1/21b. Bluegill have been holding in 5-15ft of water in grassy areas of the lake. Meal and red worms under a bobber have been the bait of choice. Gills have been hand size with the occasional one pounder showing up on a stringer.

Bass fishing was good this past week, with most fish holding in 25' to 35' of water in rocky areas. Drop shot and Texas rigs have been the most consistent techniques. There are still fish occasionally breaking in open water in the early morning hours, though these fish have proven to be tough to catch. Bluegill action has been fair on red worms fished on the southern shoreline of the lake, in approximately 15’ of water. All other species......
