1/2 DAY FISHING on the "WESTERN PRIDE"
The Sand Bass and Calico Bass fishing really started to "take off" over the past week for the 1/2 Day trips. It doesn't appear that the migratory Sand Bass are here in force yet, but there's plenty of local Bass on the spots to keep everybody busy. The "WESTERN PRIDE" has started the full Summer schedule with
(2) 1/2 Day trips Daily, departing at 6:00 AM and again at 12:30 PM.
THERE'S LOTS OF ROOM AVAILABLE ON ALL TRIPS THIS WEEKEND!
TWILIGHT FISHING on the "FREELANCE"

The Twilight bite is the same as the 1/2 Day with a vast improvement in the Sand and Calico Bass bite. We've finally been able to target something other than Sculpin and the verdict is in - the Bass fishing is getting better and better. The "FREELANCE" has Twilight scheduled Every Day departing at 7:00 PM.

The 3/4 Day trips continue to have good fishing for both Calico Bass and Bonito at Catalina Island. The Barracuda popped up in good numbers on the coast early this past week, but disappeared just as quickly, but they'll be back, SOON! The 3/4 Day trips are seeing and catching some Barracuda at the Island and there's Yellowtail roaming around. Could break loose any day. The "FREELANCE" has a Limited Load, Extended 3/4 Day trip on Saturday,
leaving at 6:30 AM, returning at 6:30 PM. Sunday through Friday we have
Regular 3/4 Day trips leaving at 7:00AM, Every Day.

Well, Spring is here, the water temperature is rising, and it appears that the fish know it and are acting the like they're ready to go! CALICO BASS: Calicos have really turned on at Catalina Island.
