The boat returned this morning early from the first 8 day trip of the season. Despite the tough weather, everyone had limits of Yellowtail, 20 Bluefin, 7 Albacore and a Yellowfin.
The Yellowtail were beautiful and they were cookie cutters from 34 - 36 pounds, in fact three in a row weighed in at perfect 34.6lbers... Jackpot winners:The boat departed @ 11:30am with the Catchy Tackle Gang. It was great to see everyone and meet the new guys. For this upcoming trip, fortunately for everyone out in webworld - the email modem on board is back in business, so no more lame land line reports. Check back tomorrow night and see what's going on.

The guys called in tonight to report a choppy day offshore - they saw 3 spots of Bluefin Tuna, but conditions were a little tough - so no go. They are slowly working their way home and will pull into an island for dinner tomorrow night. Check back tomorrow night for ETA. American Angler ......
