https://www.intrepid.netHI Everyone,
Today was a travel day for us and we were blessed with good weather. Our after breakfast tackle seminar covered rigging and techniques for wahoo. Tight drags on the troll gear and the casting jigs, wind through the bite on the retrieve for a good 10 seconds, always keeping tension on the line, more reel less rod, light drag on the live bait wire leader rigs as the wahoos teeth compromise the wire. Consistency on the subtle techniques increases your bite to hook up ratio. After the seminar, our host for the trip Fred Knilans had a very nice giveaway session with Catchy Tackle t shirts and jigs for everyone. Attached to this update is a picture on one of the coolest looking trolling plugs I have seen, the "Soda Pop Maurader" custom painted by Salty Dog. I have no doubt it will get bit. We are enjoying a nice ride down and will start rigging our tuna gear tomorrow. Until then, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
