Hi Gang,

We awoke this morning to beautiful weather and a calm ocean. Watching the sunrise over coffee in the tropics is nothing short of amazing. We started out our day with slack conditions and small tuna. The current started to flow just after breakfast and we started hooking better grade tuna. Most of the fish this morning were 80 to 140 pounds with one fish at about 170. Come early afternoon our current switched and we re positioned on the Bank. This afternoon was very interesting as we had good sign of bigger fish. We ended up with one fish that taped out at 220, one that is very close to 200, and a handful of other fish that were 150 to 180. It was a great day of steady action on quality fish. We are hoping that this afternoon was a sign of things to come for us with bigger ones in the mix. Again, the best method today was a flylined sardine, a 5/0 ringed circle hook, 100 to 130 pound fluorocarbon, and a lively sardine. Our chefs served a sesame crusted seared Ahi over rice for dinner tonight that was exceptional. We have high hopes for tomorrow, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
