Good Fishing

Hi Gang,

This morning started out very similar as to what we experienced yesterday. Hooking our first fish right at first light and it being in the mid 100# class. We picked up a handful more fish of similar grade before breakfast with the largest going just over 190#'s. It was a slow scratch after breakfast with just one fish hooked at a time. Shortly after lunch we re-positioned on the Bank and things got interesting for us the rest of the afternoon. It was good fishing on 110# to 160# fish all afternoon. We had 1 to as many as 6 fish hooked all afternoon up until dark. The best method was the flylined sardine rig on 100# fluorocarbon and a 4/0 ringed Eagle Claw Trokar circle hook. We did not land a Cow today but we did have 3 fish over 190#'s. Late in the day it seemed as though every tuna on the Bank was jumping out of the water chasing small flying fish. It was quite the visual. An amazing day was made complete with an impressive rack of lamb dinner prepared by our chefs. Thank you Brian and Kyle. A great day for sure. Everyone had a blast and we are excited for what tomorrow will bring. Wish us luck, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
