The weather this week has been very cold with early morning temperatures in the 30's. The surface temperature this week has dropped down to 57 degrees. The hot bite this week has been trout with many anglers having luck from shore and boat.

For trout, most anglers are using either power bait or power eggs. I also recommend using either mice tails, kastmasters or small spinners. Fish around big shallow sand flats and points.

Stripers have been slow with few anglers having success from shore or boat. Most anglers are using anchovies, sardines or chicken liver as bait. I would also recommend jigging with a spoon or hair raiser.

Catfish have done well this week with anglers having success from shore and from boat. Most catfish have been caught around points, rock walls, and deep drop offs. Most anglers are using anchovies, I recommend using chicken liver or night crawlers as well.

Featured Anglers of the Week for 11/27/17-12/3/17:

Jason Ziganti of Boulder Creek caught one trout that weighed 4 LBS and one striper that weighed 4.5 LBS
