The East is still at about 50 cfs, we’ve only had a few reports from down there this past week, the traffic is pretty light. 50 is a good flow compared to most winters but of course most of the fish are hanging out in the deeper pools so there’s water you won’t really want to fish, just focus on the deeper pools and runs and you should be able to have some success. The anglers we did talk to this week, both from the California and Nevada sides of the river were able to get into around 5 or 6 fish per day. The best time to fish is probably mid day, from about 10am to about 3 pm. Didn’t have any news on streamers or dries, everyone we talked to who got into some fish were fishing small nymphs and midges. The weather is supposed to hold out at least for a while and with the light pressure now is a good time to get your fish on!
