The water is warming up and so is the fishing. Crystal clear water with great weather being forecasted this week should make for some fun fishing adventures. Every lake in the june loop has been producing great fishing! Get it before the big 4th of july crowds hit.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: good
One might consider tossing a nice little dry fly on the surface for rising fish, usually before sunset on the non windy days.
Lots of fish have been stocked recently in the loop. Gull Lake has been producing some very nice brown trout. The lake has recently received a stocking of 500 lbs of browns in the 3-6 lb. class. Silver Lake has had the better reports out of the other lakes. Some nice Alpers and dfg stockers have been caught near the boat docks. Streamer fishing is also the preferred method there with an olive Doc's Twin Lakes Special.
