Fishing here is starting to warm up as all species made a showing this past week. Bass have been moving up into as little as 2 feet of waterin some areas. No signs of any bed fish as of yet, but it shouldn't be long. Senkos, flukes, and rip baits have been working for bass up shallow, and drop shotting, and jigs getting it done in the deep water. All species of panfish have been showing in both the Kimball, and Barona arms. Crappie were eating small shiners, and jigs, while the Red Ear abd Bluegill preferred red worms, and mealworms. The lakes Blue Catfish population was active, as many anglers visually saw cats in the backs of coves, and flats.
