Winter steelhead has picked up throughout the river. Hopefully the fishery stays hot as we go through the week. A mix of wild and hatchery fish are being caught. Casting spinners, drifting bait or using a bobber and jig can be effective. Note: The 3.5 mile bridge in the Siletz gorge is still closed to motorized vehicles. Walking or biking in beyond the bridge is still open.
