Trout are about 5 feet from surface, add a split shot or a egg sinker to achieve the necessary depth. For Crappie, neon green or a generally neon jig have been proven most effective. Furthermore, utilizing a garlic night crawler or Mackarel has been the bait trend for Catfish.
