Hi Gang,

We enjoyed another nice day of weather traveling South. After breakfast we covered tackle and techniques for giant yellowfin tuna. It's pretty amazing how far we have come with design and technology in tackle over the years. Rod construction, 2 speed reels that free spool well and can apply a lot of drag, spectra, fluorocarbon, circle hooks. We are landing bigger fish on lighter, more manageable gear, than we ever thought possible 25 years ago. The day was spent rigging tackle and relaxing. The guys had a Texas hold em tournament after lunch and Ken Rivest and Captain Sam Moore were the last two standing. As the sun was about to set on the horizon, we located a breezer of dorado. Slid up on the spot,  and numerous dorado charged the boat. It was a super fun sundowner bite on quality dorado in the 12 to 20 pound class. We caught enough for a couple of meals and continued on our way. Amanda Miller from Juneau, Alaska caught her first ever dorado today and she was stoked. Good job Amanda! Tonights dinner was amazing as always and chefs Brian and Kyle prepared a delicious meal of veal osso buco. After dinner we played Wheel of Fortune for all of the crew compliments of David "Soda Pop" Rouse and hosted by Denny Lavigne. The guys won anything from a 2 dollar bill, a jar of quarters, to a $50 gift card or a $100 bill. Everyone got 2 spins of the wheel. It was hilarious. Thank you Soda Pop. Life is good. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
