Fishing has been slow on the Necanicum recently, and the hatchery run is just about over. However, with rain last weekend and more predicted for the middle of this week the Necanicum should be in good shape for the weekend. There will mostly be wild fish throughout the system at this point, so be prepared to catch and release. Float fishing jigs or beads, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
